The Trials of Job
Held up facts, resonates that the book of Job happens to be the or most reasonably one of the saddest, most controversial and emphatic book of the bible.
The book comprising forty two chapters holds the experience of an upright man named Job. A close up conversation between Job and his friends,
also a series of Job's such rhetorical questions and bargains with and against God.
Job 1:1 begins with the citation and exploits of the man Job. " There was a man in the land of Uz whose name is Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God (with reverence) and abstained from and turned away from evil(because he honored God)". Bravo!!!
More like the Steve Jobs of the Apple Incorporated; Billionaire Job's owned sheeps, camels, oxens in their thousands. A tremendous amount of meat huh, setting record for present day
herdsmen. Much wondering how much offsprings cattles conceived in the days, moreso who did the counting.
A call could summon a hundred of servants, a
wealthy man indeed; remember the story of Father Abraham with servants worth an army and Esau having 400 bodyguards!!!. Also a father to sons and daughters, he was definitely living the dream life. A well known and respected man in all of Northern Arabia, present day; Saudi Arabia conglomerate. Job was blessed and the devil had a plan.
Job's story would have made the perfect headlines in a forever christian prosperity tale with his name on the lips of every self acclaimed prosperity preacher, but the media would have been less interested with his godly excellence than his soon tragedy; He lost it all !!!.

Everything ever pleasant about Job turned unpleasant in a split second, his honey turned sour, his hopes dashed and his body breached.
'After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth'. A mouth meant to sync praises and blessings rained curses and laments for as much as 32 chapters. His fists clenched at his own friends.
"Curse God and die" were the words from a once love of a lifetime to the husband of her youth. Couldn't imagine how broken the man Job became. He in all his fury, acknowledgements, self righteousness and languish aroused a response
from his maker.
'Now gird up your loins like a man, and I will ask you and you instruct me!' Finally, God spoke to Job out of a whirlwind. God then asked Job a series of questions about the creation of the world and the nature of God's power, demonstrating Job's limitations and ignorance.
Just like the transpose the examiner gets examined. As an emphatic of Job's predicaments, I could have asked the same said by the disciples unto Jesus about the blind man at the gate; and stand as God to say 'how dare Job to utter such blather'.
As the lyrics of Dunsin Oyekan's song sings. 'When the glory comes, there'll be no words to say....' Mr Job was speechless, regrettably biting his lips for his mindless utterances. He came to the understanding that God is not a man. He is GOD.
Job was humbled and repentant, saying, "I have heard of you, but now my eye has seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes" The story of Job teaches us about the sovereignty of God, the nature of suffering, and the importance of faith and trust in the face of adversity.
Despite his suffering, Job remained faithful to God, and God ultimately restored his fortunes and blessed him. The glory of the latter was indeed greater than the former for there was restoration as well as a promotion for Old Job. His hopes restored; the sweetness of his honey nectareous. The story of Job ending in pleasantries cause the Lord was with him.
